Hi Jess I'm Jackie over at The thing i...by JamPac-Ed and we are just getting set up on Substack to join in with publishing and having conversations about these spaces that you are deep diving too.

I'm so rabbithole excited to know that your background is molecular biology, ND and systems thinking.

For now, hope it's OK to just jump in here....I'm listening to the full interview and paused after about 19 minutes. This is what i wanted to drop in with:

I want to offer a reframeflip-the- sentence of when you phrased it as: ' when you have MCAS everything is a lion so its important to set boundaries'.

Here's the reframeflip-the-sentence:

"When I don't choose actions that reflect and support what is true for me ie. my FEELINGS (emotions, thoughts, sensations, and includes felt sense, the visceral somatic sense), then I become out of tune with my Somatic Communication System ( we'll explain on our substack) and lose my felt safety. This lose is expressed ( for me to see that I've gone into unsafe mode biologically) in what we call MCAS."

Your thoughts?
